Welcome to our Care Quality Commission web page. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is an executive non-departmental public body of the Department of Health and Social Care. It was established in 2009 to regulate and inspect health and social care services in England. Its role is to ensure that hospitals, care homes, dental, general practices and other care services in England provide safe, effective and high-quality care and to encourage them to improve. It performs this role through the checks carried out during the initial registration process, spot inspections and monitoring of a range of data sources.
IPRS Aeromed has been registered with the CQC under the Health & Social Care Act 2008, since 19th December 2018.
The CQC check how healthcare services are meeting the outcomes of quality and safety though a programme of routine or risk-based inspections and will share their findings with the public via their website which can be viewed here.
