What is the job role?
IPRS Aeromed are seeking expressions of interest from HCPC registered Paramedics interested in joining our highly skilled team providing Medical Repatriation Services, International Medical Cover and Event Medical Services. As one of the UK’s leading suppliers of travel-related medical services, IPRS Aeromed was initially created to offer a solution to repatriation difficulties and to deal with the time consuming and complex aspects of coordinating international repatriations, benefiting assistance companies and private individuals alike. We have evolved to provide a clinically focused diverse service of medical expertise within the repatriation industry and beyond.
What are the main job functions:
Working as a Paramedic with IPRS Aeromed you will undertake medical escort duties of persons being transported within the UK and internationally. Working closely with security officers contracted to the Home Office, you will provide medical assistance to persons who are being transported in their care. The role may also include performing medical escort duties without a security team in place. You will be expected to adhere to JRCALC guidelines and work within the scope of your HCPC registration.
To be considered for this role, you must have minimum 3 years’ experience operating as an autonomous practitioner within a frontline NHS Ambulance Service Trust and be able to demonstrate excellent continuous professional development. You are also required to be a self-motivated and an assertive team player who is confident to make autonomous clinical decisions.
